Are you kidding me?

43 posts in the first 8 days of August?  New bloggers coming online every day? Really?

OK, Newbies, a little advice:  READ the blog, OK?  Some of these new posts are reruns of things that were discussed thoroughly in June and July.  August blog people are walking into the middle of an ongoing conversation.  I'm not saying you shouldn't talk about what you need or want to talk about, and if you write a comment to a post from June or July, chances are good that I'd be the only one to notice.  And it's possible that I might miss it too...I don't usually go back more than one or two times to find new comments.  But find out if you are commenting on something that was already discussed in detail, and if so, refer back to that conversation by post title and date.  Acknowledge the work that has gone on before you arrived.
