Notebooks! Fantastic.

First was Kevin Caburosa (Cabusora?), followed by Breahna Upton and Carina Taylor

But today, there's a bunch!  Thanks to those of you who got your books in early:
Joey Thompson, Cheyenne Nation, Charles Grant, Jasmine Gomez, Melissa James, Norma Contreras, Janae Elliott, Lenora Brown, and Quang Le!

I'm going to read these tonight.  Probably.  Maybe.  Most likely.
Before I do, I want to go to Art Supply Warehouse in Garden Grove and buy myself an awesome fountain pen and some interesting ink.  I want green, but I'll settle for a nice color of blue.  It's my birthday this weekend, and so I'll buy a present for myself that makes the grading even more enjoyable...

  2. Hhmm. I've been looking for some ink for my fountain pen that I got in Paris. But none seem to fit it.

  3. Happy birthday Ms. Fletcher. I must admit I am a little nervous about my notebook, but glad that you got it in that basket okay. I was worried it would get lost earlier today when I turned it in.

  4. Thanks, Everybody. I love my birthday. I love presents. I love cake. I love it when people sing to me. There is just nothing that I don't like about my birthday.

Melissa, were you nervous about the quality of the work, or whether it would get lost? At first glance, everything seems good...I haven't gotten into it yet, but there's nothing to be nervous about. I read with friendly eyes, and the tie goes to the runner, always.

Raul, I got one of my fountain pens (I'm a modest collector) in Paris -- a black Lamy. I used to have to order the ink online, but guess what?! Art Supply Warehouse carries the line now, and I got a new Lamy today -- chocolate brown, very snazzy. I love it. And I found a very cool bottle of turquoise ink. I'm all set.

  6. Oh, duh! I just re-read what you initially wrote, and that's exactly what you said.
