Just wanted to check in with you as we come up on the last days of summer homework for my class. I know many of you still have Calculus, History, Spanish, Art History, and is it Chemistry or Bio this year? I've already lost track. Anyway, there's lots of work left to be done. I am in the same boat with all of you. Sunny days and lots of diversions, but also work. I'm trying to do some of my work on the patio, and that helps.
I have posted elsewhere the due dates for everything, the details of the Annotated Webography, and I've tried to be clear in the subject titles of my posts so you can scan for me easily. Many of you have helped one another, and I appreciate and support that.
I am back to work on a half-time schedule. I will be working every day for about 4-6 hours, and then goofing around as much as possible. If you need me, just write. Thank you for a good summer blog.
Fletcher at the AP reading, 2004 |
Be good; keep writing and keep thinking. I'm about to re-read BNW and AOTD -- I read them every year, of course, but I usually wait until the end of summer so everything is fresh when we start. I still have about 7 books on my list in addition to those two that I'll want to plow through before I see you. My summer reading list will end up being somewhere between 13 or 14.
Mrs. Fletcher with long hair-never seen that before. Upon closer examination of that picture you look like you're upset with that essay you're reading.
